Accessiblity:
Port Douglas is aproximately 50 minutes north of Cairns by road.
You can travel to the resort by limousine or coach from Cairns airport. Alternatively, if driving your own car or rental car, you will find the Reef Club Port Douglas on Davidson Street.

Thanks for the mail. We both enjoyed our brief time in Port Douglas. It is a very relaxed place with a variety of cafes and restaurants, and has great weather. It is a great palce to just relax. We took the trip to the Low Isles and Tony's trip to the Daintree and Cape Tribulation. We also hired a car one day and went to Palm Cove, the zoo and to Cairns. Personally I would have liked to see the sugar refinery in Mossman but couldn't get there on a weekday. We enjoyed the trips and felt that we should do them once. Personally I wouldn't do them again because they are very expensive. The Reef Club was good, except for the approx 1km walk to Macrossan St or the port, which we did many times a day. Next time I would stay closer.
