We seven girls all enjoyed our stay at Harbour Lights Luxury Apartments, the booking process, collection of keys, use of facilities, helpful staff at FNQ bookings on our arrival, the beautiful apartments, all meet our expectations. The Sunset Cruise and Dinner at Dundee’s on Friday 18th Oct was a great start to our weekend and so close to our accommodation, so we were all highly satisfied with our choice. We also went by bus to meet the Kuranda Skyrail, loved the boardwalks, had three hours wandering around Kuranda town and markets, a lovely lunch at The Kuranda Hotel, returned Gold Class on The Scenic Rail, a fantastic relaxed Saturday out. The staff at all our attraction choices were very kind and informative and the attractions to rave about. The Outer Great Barrier Reef via Green Island was one trip i had been looking so forward to as i love the reef experience and had arranged for four of my friends to join me – all had never been to a reef nor Cairns. Having been out of Shute Harbour and Mission Beach to the reef in previous years, i was so keen to snorkel off the pontoon and this outer reef area. Unfortunately it was very windy and choppy last Sunday so we found it really difficult to stay in the water, just clung to the rest stations. The staff on the catamaran were so considerate and apologetic. Hopefully i can arrange this adventure at some other stage. I must also add, myself and one of my friends booked the Hot Air Balloon Flight...OMG that was the highlight of my year, such a beautiful peaceful experience, and the staff were so damn kind and friendly, involved the passengers in everything, preparation and pack up, also kept us continuously informed while flying over the beautiful Tablelands, a must do.
