Fitzroy Island is a tropical paradise of rainforest and beaches within the calm sheltered waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Just 45 minutes on the Flyer from Cairns, Fitzroy Island Resort is an affordable modern resort that offers a range of accommodation including Suites, Studios, Beachside Cabins, Bungalows and a Penthouse.
Resort facilities include Zephyr restaurant, large pool with swim up bar, “FISH” sports hire and dive centre, a general store, gift shop and the beachside Foxys Bar. Activities include snorkeling and paddle boarding, with guided tours available, kayaking, glass bottom boat tours and daily talks at the Turtle Rehabilitation Centre.
