Sorry for the delay in replying to this email. We had a fantastic time in Port Douglas.

The accommodation was excellent. Mowbray by the Sea was the best, the friendly management who go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. The apartments are spacious, clean, modern and very comfortable. Close to the beach and to coffee shops and restaurants.

We hired a car for 1 day and went up to Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge but that’s about all, we just relaxed. I have already recommended your services to 2 friends that are heading up later in the year.

Hi Megan,

We were very happy with our apartment at Mowbray by the Sea in Port Douglas. The position was great – so convenient to everything. My only negative comments would be:- 1. The four day room service didn’t happen on the day we were told it would. 2. The kitchen equipment needs to be upgraded. Example: We stayed in a two bedroom apartment that catered for four people. The kitchen contained three SMALL saucepans and one medium sized fry pan. So if you wanted to cook pasta for four there wasn’t a saucepan large enough! I mentioned this to the management and they said that other people have made the same comment. We did a day trip to the reef with Poseidon which was very well run and most enjoyable. I found your website and your staff to be very helpful in planning out trip to Port Douglas and would be more than happy to use your services again.

Hi Sara,

We had a wonderful holiday in Port Douglas, and enjoyed driving ourselves around and exploring the area. We went to Hartley's Crocodile Park which was an entertaining day, and also went to Mossman Gorge and upto Daintree Village, where we took a boat up the Daintree River. This was a great activity as we had an entertaining guide and managed to spot two crocs on the banks. Other days we just simply enjoyed the atmosphere of Port Douglas, loved Four Mile Beach, the market and restaurants. Your service in finding us an apartment at such short notice was fantastic. I had no luck myself so was delighted that you not only found us accommodation but a choice of resorts. Mowbray by the Sea was perfect, the apartment was ideal and had a great layout, the managers there were very helpful and friendly, and the location was spot on. I couldn't fault anything there and would not hesitate in staying there when we are next in Port Douglas. Thanks again for your assistance in finding us such a great place.
