The Beach Terraces is located just 70 meters off the famous Four Mile Beach and a 5 minute walk to the village centre, apartments are spacious and comfortable all apartments have private balconies and are designed to enjoy the tropical ambience of Port Douglas. 

All apartments are fully self-contained, including full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, cooktop, tea and coffee making. 

Apartments are fully air-conditioned, have washer and dryer, complimentary cable TV, DVD, clock radio, ceiling fans, tropical furnishings and outdoor settings on the balcony.

Beach Terraces, with just 20 Apartments features a Lagoon Pool with Waterfall and Spa, separate wading pool  (heated in winter), a Sun-Deck with a 3rd adjoining pool (not heated) and BBQ area.   

**Please note Beach Terraces has stair access only (no lifts) – Ground, Middle and Top Floors.  Note the 3 Bedroom Apartments are on the Top Floor.

Hi Sarah,

I just wanted to touch base with you after our stay in Port Douglas/Cairns and to let you know What a great holiday we had. You booked the Beach Terraces for me and my parents and it was a lovely spot. After a bad start with delayed flights With Tiger ( I’ll never use them again) it was such a pleasure to arrive at this lovely little “Gem by the Sea”.George and Treveen had left a key for us and we had a ground floor apartment which was great as I knew my parents would struggle With stairs. It was very spacious and clean and I feel they may have given us an upgrade as I had my own bathroom. When the original apartment I had chosen was only suppose to have one. The pool area was neat and clean and just outside our door which was a bonus.We did use the other pool at the front With the spa and my only critism there was it was a little difficult to get in and out and the spa was hard to access as You had to climb over rocks but we still used it and enjoyed it. George and Treveen were very welcoming and booked all our tours for us. We had a wonderful day out on the reef. I even Managed to get my 76 year old parents into snorkel and flippers for a swim with the fish. we had another wonderful day on the Kuranda railway/Sky rail and the five nights came to an end all to quickly. We spent our last two nights in Cairns at the Rydges. The apartment was massive and again clean and well maintained.We found being in the city a little difficult after the beauty of Port Douglas but made the most of it.We visited the Zoo but I found that very expensive and a half day would be ample time to spend there. On our last day we did the half day city tour and I have to say How impressive that was.It took in all the major attractions of the city,the beautiful botanical gardens,the opal mine and Palm Cove Jetty. It also included afternoon tea and the gentleman who ran it was so pleasant and imformative. It was a great end to our holiday. I just want to say thank you again as we all had a wonderful holiday. Also thank you to Brenda who put my mind at rest re our transfers with the flights being delayed. I;ll be visiting Port Douglas again next year as we have a family wedding in St Marys’ Church. Now I know why you say “We live here and we love it”
